At Winkworth, our agents and clients are more conscious than ever of the problems our planet places, whether it’s carbon emissions, pollution or environmental degredation.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Eden Greenspace, the first-of-its-kind platform which channels support to the world’s most effective environmental projects, including tree planting, ocean plastic removal, solar lighting and rewilding.

Our Partnership with Eden Greenspace

Through our partnership with Eden, Winkworth’s clients are taking action to restore our planet.

Over 30 Winkworth offices across London have pledged to use a percentage of their fee to support Eden's environmental projects.

Each time our vendors and landlords sell a property or agree a tenancy through Winkworth, they are able to choose one of Eden’s projects to support - planting trees, removing ocean plastic plastic, distributing solar lights and more.

The vendor or landlord will then receive a personalised Certificate of Impact from Eden, as proof of the positive environmental impact they have created through Winkworth.

Who are Eden Greenspace?

Eden Greenspace is a social enterprise whose community of individuals and businesses are taking real action to restore our planet, by supporting their range of world-leading environemntal projects.
Their projects include tree planting in Kenya, Madagascar and Nepal, wildflower rewilding across the UK, marine plastic removal around Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and solar light distribution across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Eden works only with the most effective and reputable charities and NGOs in their field, each of which are intensively researched and selected according to their effectiveness and transparency. Every project is specifically chosen to address the triple planetary crisis, as set out by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP): the climate crisis, the nature crisis and the pollution crisis.

Transparency and Anti-Greenwashing

Eden operate with complete transparency, with all evidence of impact displayed in a public registry, along with a commitment to 80% of all funds going directly to action on the ground, to maximise the positive environmental impact generated by its community.

Additionally, Eden prides itself on being strongly opposed to any form of greenwashing. They pledge never to trade in carbon credits, which can distract from valulable climate action. They reject oversimplified green slogans like ‘save the planet just by planting a tree’, and instead provide a range of environmental projects designed to address each issue in a range of ways.
