About Dollis Hill
Dollis Hill is an area in northwest London, which consists of the streets surrounding Gladstone Park. It is a friendly and safe neighbourhood with a large park with sports groups, playing fields, cafes and a beautiful walled rose garden.
The area is mainly residential with lots of Edwardian terraced and 1920s/30s semi-detached houses, with a strong community feel and restaurants, a greengrocer and convenience stores near the underground station.
Dollis Hill has a very diverse mix of ethnicities/nationalities, including an unusually large number of Irish residents, many of whom have ‘graduated’ here from districts like Kilburn and Harlesden.
Transport
Dollis Hill is served by a London Underground station, Dollis Hill, on the Jubilee line, providing good links to central London. It is in the London Borough of Brent, close to Willesden Green, Neasden and Cricklewood, and is in the postal districts of NW2 and NW10.
Schools
Bevington Primary, St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Primary, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Junior school, St Lukes Church of England and Queen’s Park Community School all have good reputations and impressive Ofsted ratings.
