Description
The Old School is situated in the conservation area, central in the village.
The accommodation is as per the floor plans and a Matterport 3D tour, which is available upon request.
Recent improvements completed to this charming conversion of former Victorian school have created a well-balanced property, beautifully presented and rich in character, in the heart of the village.
Of particular note is the large central reception room and connecting entrance hall. Bedrooms are accessed via two staircases, at either end of the property, which offers flexibility, as does the study on the ground floor at the rear, which with a shower nearby could potentially be a used as a fourth bedroom, if required.
The kitchen with an Aga has space for informal dining and a laundry room is a perfect place for laundry and wet dogs alike!
The garden has been landscaped to the rear. There is also a garage to the rear via a driveway, over which the neighbouring house (Old School Cottage) has a permanent right of way to their own garage adjacent and to their property.

Agents note: the rear part of the garden for The Old School is held on a second title currently.

Location
The village has a strong sense of community, facilities include a church, a post office and stores, a pub as well as a village hall. The house sits next to the shop.
The village is some twelve miles northwest of Salisbury and a similar distance southeast of Warminster, both of which have a Waitrose and a station.
There are several excellent schools in the area. Warminster School is a co-educational independent day and boarding school in Warminster. In Salisbury there are grammar schools for boys and girls, as well as number independent schools including the Cathedral School.
Just outside the village, Deptford, is a gateway to two primary roads, the A303 (London, Stonehenge, Amesbury to the east) and the A36 (Southampton to Bristol and Bath).
The beautiful countryside of the Wylye Valley is accessible, with the Cranborne Chase beyond.
