Wimborne is a picturesque market town with a strong community feel ideal for those looking for a slower pace of life. A small weekly market is held on a Friday with the larger farmers market held in the square around the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Additionally there are several independent schools located in or around Wimborne, including Canford School, one of the country’s top independent coeducational boarding and day schools. Grammar schools are located in Bournemouth and Poole.
Poole town is approximately 7 miles away, offering employment in a mix of industries from Siemans, RNLI, Sunseekers and Aish technology. Bournemouth is approximately 10 miles away with larger financial institutions such as JP Morgan, LV, Nationwide and a wide range of hospitality and tech businesses.
Health wise, local GP services have been a Quality Care Commision rating of Good or Outstanding. The Victoria Community Hospital has a minor injuries unit, radiology and outpatient departments in addition, it can accommodate 22 in patients. Larger hospitals are located in Bournemouth and Poole.
